it's not possible. Golfs are over priced rubbish. Much better can be had in every class.

To be fair the Golf isn't a bad car, in fact it's very good, it's just the prices they command make them a bad used buy.

Got my 52 plate 1.8T GTI for a shade over 5.5K which I thought was a pretty good price and definitely no regrets - loving it! I would say to you to be careful buying a golf on the cheap - they do seem to have a lot of common faults which despite their simplicity, people don't get fixed!
Check absolutely everything if you go to look at one.
