First car - max budget £2000

Is the comfort pack the one with aircon and the quickclear windscreen? Mine has aircon but no quick clear windscreen. I would have liked quickclear but it wasn't a dealbreaker for buying it.....

Just phoned the garage who have confirmed the car will be ready for me next Saturday to come pick up. It needed an MOT put on it and they were also going to change the cambelt. Gonna be a long wait till Saturday! :(

The garage is 40 miles from my house so it's gonna be a long first drive with my new car on fast roads. Still, should be a good chance to get to know the car.

I guess so, mine has the quick clear windscreen and air con. The windscreen is very useful IMO, I'm really going to miss it in my next car, assuming it's not a ford.

Nice first car... don't be worried about not having a quick clearing windscreen, my first car (which I just sold after 4 years) was black with a black interior and no AC... I lost about half a stone going anywhere in the summer!

Just went over my quote with my dad to confirm everything looked good. Had to change a couple of fields and the new quote went down further to £1071! So double checking with my dad saved me about £65. Really chuffed! :)

Not bad going at all. My first year on my Focus was £1700 lol. And that was with Quinn Direct who at the time were the ONLY insurer who didn't cover glass on a comprehensive policy (I didnt even think to check this). Much to my distaste when my windscreen got a chip on the motorway which had cracked right around the tax disk in the next 5 minutes.

Also taught me to check things that are typically standard!
