First car

That's the Sprint - 127BHP as standard (although some factory engines made 150BHP), 0-60 in 7.9-8.2 seconds depending which test you read, about 7.5 seconds availiable with a few cheap mods, after that it's onto porting the cylinder head and uprated cams :)

There's a fully-built Street rod that runs a Sprint engine, runs 12 second quarters and is very, very tough :D I think about 280BHP without N20 is the most you can get from an NA one :)

Is what mine sounds like at the moment, well, it's a bit noisier now ....very rough tune there, hence the lumpiness, as it has a nonstandard cam which I had no idea how to tune the carbs for! ...only to about 5k and standing still..sounds quite different under load!

What are 1978 Triumph Tr7 like? I just found one for $3000 AUD :eek:
 
TR7's are alright.....not particulary inspiring and VERY love it or hate it styling.....engine is the 8v 2 litre (1850's 8 valve head on Sprint block), with 110BHP in UK form.

Unless it's a V8 one, now that, is a different story :D

There are a few 16 valve ones too :) - but can be made to handle very well!

I passed my test about 6 months ago and bought an s reg saxo. Horrible cars, absolutly hate it don't buy one no matter how cheap it may seem!
 
The 2500's are lush cars, all the gooduns on there are autos tho, but the autoboxes are great in 'em.

Some of those are so cheap I could make a nice profit by importing them all :D

Are they normaly exansive over there?
If so then that would make a bloody change :(
 
Dunno, it's pretty random really. There's a few mint ones on that site for ~1800 quid, which you could, if you found the right nutcase, flog for 4000. But I suspect that any shipping etc would eat into that and make it not really worthwhile at all.

Any other car that i look at down here is 2 or 3 times cheaper over in the UK.

Anymore car reccomendations? Ive narrowed it down to cars with 1.1 engines or below now. Anything higher costs too much to insure. Currently looking at a Pegout 106...
