First date ideas please!

As has been suggested, Bowling, Ice Skating, Jez's suggestion sounds quite good really, bit of a mix of things. Depends what you both like doing / haven't done but might want to do really though. :)

Film is generally crap for a first date. Zero interaction - even after a meal.

After all isn't the general purpose of the first date to gauge whether you like them enough for a second date?

I'd just go for a decent meal followed by a reasonably quiet (but not dead) bar, so you can get to know them better.

It's a first date, theres no need for bungee jumping - i'd much rather find out what someone is like when they are relaxed first before, being a bit more adventurous later.
 
Sex and Pizza.

Ok, only kidding, something like a small meal followed by an activity would be most suitable for a first date, just depends on what type of person you are meeting...

I feel like I've gained a whole forum full of older brothers! :D

I quite like the idea of a museum, I've always wanted to go to the Science Museum but never really made it, seems like a great place to have a laugh!
 
Most of them are probably younger brothers tbh...

I remember a gf dragging me to a museum in London once, I was like "hmph", then when I got there I was like a 12 year old kid :D

1 Problem, what if he doesnt like science and then you'd be stuck with a boring drip for about an hour !

:D, I thought it was you, I don't forget legs like that in a hurry :o, anyway, seriously now, going to museum sounds great, especially the science museum, my brother went there a few weeks and loved it, if it was me though I'd love to go and see a good play at a local theatre, and maybe a few drinks after and bit of a natter. Anyway whatever you do I hope it goes well.
