First ever case build project

Cheers mate. Problem is though, I now need to turn the fans round the other way as in this orientation, they are sucking air from outside, over the rad then into the case. This will mean I will be blowing warm ait into the case and other the motherboard

Not too keen on the coloured fan cables. Considered braiding them but was too tight to get a descent finish so out with the spray

All fans done. Will look a little better now I think. Although, I still preferred the fans the other way round. I think it looked much better. Will post a pic once the fans are all secured to the rad and grill and case top

With them turned round it will cut down on dust intake. My lian li a70f was a dust magnet on the top panel, thankfully it had no fan cutouts.

Certainly looks the part with the cables painted. Are you gonna carbon wrap the front and side panels as well?

I'm not too sure to be honest mate. Not sure if it would too much. Was considering black carbon all over apart from side panel with window which I was toying with the idea of white carbon which I also have. Any suggestions???

Coming along good, I like the carbon finish, thought it looked a bit odd before hand in post #32. Are you doing a window in the side?

Very true, the slots dont look too bad plus they are needed to exhaust the front 120mm.

I have quite a bit of work to do with the front cover. I need to fill the 3.5" bay as this is not needed and makes the front look very uneven. Also to keep symetrical, I am going to remove the power/reset buttons and relocate them to the centre.

Also need to think of a place for my fill port. Thinking roof would be the easiest position

Going to try and sort out the front cover today (if I get time inbetween decorating ). Plan of action is to move the power/reset buttons and hdd/pwr leds from where they are over on the right to the centre line of the case. I think this will look a lot better.

Just looking at it though, looks like there may be a bit of work involved. I dont just have to mod the front cover, I also have to rework the actual chassis so that the button connection mounts and led mounts are also in the revised position.
