first movie you watched at the cinema

Can't remember but always did James Bond films with folks ,towering inferno ect.
As a boy we would sneak in to the X rated Bruce Lee and confessions films ....

The first I remember was Back to the Future Part 2. Much disappointment at the end when it unexpectedly said I needed to wait 6 months for Part 3!

Dunno tbh, maybe Hook (1991).
Went to the cinema every few weeks throughout the 90s, saw everything worth seeing.
ofc it was a fiver a pop then, not whatever meme price they're charging now.

I think it was the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie at the Metro in Ashton-under-Lyne (earliest cinema memory I can recall).

I would have been around 9 or 10 at the time.

Lot of firsts for people here that i have great memories of going to see with friends or family.

1980 for me, Herbie Goes Bananas at the Curzon in Loughborough.

we used to get a VHS from the video rental shop on Saturdays along with a chippy - I'm having trouble trying to remember what films I saw at the cinema and what was at home on a tiny TV!

Return of the Jedi, I went with my dad one afternoon while sister was in hospital getting her tonsils removed. It was a complete surprise, and when I realised what was going on I was mega excited.
