Double check all connections and that the 8 pin for cpu is in and double check the memory is in the correct slots, and do a CMOS reset before starting for first time

Resets the BIOS to default settings, you can either take the battery out for 10 mins (no power switched on) or there is a Clear CMOS jumper on the board, just short these and this will clear the BIOS and reset to defaults.
