First Premiership Weekend (SPOILERS) - 19th & 20th August

On their showing here, as awfull as they were last year.

They arent doing anything, its just lumping the ball forward to their pair of paceless "couldnt trap a bag of cement" strikers who loose it straight away and chelsea come pouring back.
They are worse than fulham were because in all fairness Chelsea really are not pulling up any trees going forward, they are just coasting.
 
back from OT! Ground looks magnificent, they really have worked very hard on the stadium during the week....extension pretty much finished and they have refurbished parts of the existing stands too!

As for the game:-

Van Der Sar:- didnt have much to do, was solid when needed
G.Neville:- solid, went of precautionary at half time
Ferdinand- solid, but out of position twice early on
Brown- dodgy first 10 mins, was awesome at right back
Evra- awesome, my man of the match
Ronaldo- very good, but his crosses were carp yet again
Scholes- very busy, distribution top class
O'Shea- no anticipation, but didnt do anything wrong
Giggs- very good, looked very dangerous
Rooney- so strong, so very good, Fulham were scared ******* of him
Saha- movement was excellent, showed he can replace RvN but needs to do his type of performance consistantly
Silvestre- looked solid when he was needed
Solksjaer- some good passes, needs sharpness badly
Park- didnt do much, was good when he was involved

Fulham:- They were terrible, 3 of the goals were horrible defensive errors

Arsenal had 67% posession, and miles more shots on target, but our defence.. well, it wasnt a defence..
it was the whole team :o

Be interesting to see how that works against united/chelsea.
Pleased with a point though. :)
