@Diddums did you order yours directly from Bambu ? If yes how long did it take to ship ?
Yes, it arrived two days later. Same with all the other bits. We've just ordered another eight rolls of filament too

Ok, I'll do it tomorrowDON’T PRINT A BENCHY. Sorry, I hate the benchy. For testing I prefer the Cali-Dragon, I have an army of them.

I've heard you can reuse the rfid tagsI've only had Bambu filament so far which has been fantastic, it comes with an RFID tag which tells the printer what's loaded which other brands might not have, and it makes printing very simple.
on other brands that might not have themYeap got mine on Friday, it's great. As people say it just works, no need to fiddle with settings or anything.I bought an A1 mini a few weeks back and so far its superb. I am super hooked on it

Wanna design some things, just gotta look into what software to use.
Cool, will have a look.....thank youFusion 360. It's bloody phenomenal and YouTube is absolutely stuffed to the brim with tutorials.

Let me know how you get on. My first project will be for my Ubiquity network, want to set it up on the wall.Ive been considering the same. May start with TinkerCAD before Fusion 360. Or dive straight into fusion 360.
I am keen on getting a 3D printer, the wife is nagging me to pick a Christmas present, but Bambu Labs are not on the forest website (I have £100 in vouchers with them). So, do I wait until the New Year and get the A1 mini or get the Creality Ender 3 V3 SE with my vouchers and her pressie contributions? Mostly printing figurines, household knacks (those toothpaste rollers are brilliant for squeezing the last bit of paste), etc. I'm not keen on resin, nowhere to use with ventilation and I want my kids to learn 3d priniting too.
Thanks, I am looking at getting the A1 Mini when I get paid. I just hope that the sales remain until the New Year. The size of the Mini looks right as we have little desk space and the SE in the videos is a bit too big.I can't comment on the Creality, but the Bambu really is something special. The plug & play-ness of the whole thing is absolutely marvellous. The only faffing about I've had so far is the little feeder tubes occasionally pop out of the extruder so I have to cut the tips off and reinsert.
My advice would be to watch Youtube videos, you'll be amazed at how many people have great vids on these things.
