Hey guys, finally going to get myself an SSD drive, just stuck on which one to get.
Will be fitted on an old i5 750, LGA1156, Sata 2 for now, but planning on updating it very soon.

Main use is Gaming and occasional video converting etc...

Budget is £50-£80
So looking at
Crucial MX100 120gb @ £54.98
Samsung Evo 840 120gb @ £62.99
Samsung Evo 850 120gb @ £74.99 (is this really worth it?)

Or for £80 i could get a Kingston HyperX Fury 240GB

So what would you recommend?

if its going to be the only drive you have I would try and get 250GB SSD drive.

I have the Samsung evo 840 250GB drive and when you have the OS installed and a few games and other stuff I wish I had a bigger drive but this wasn't a issue when I had a HDD which I had all my games installed too.

you can get a 250GB Samsung evo 840 for 89.99 or you can get a OCZ ARC 100 256GB drive for 64.99!! (I cant post where as its not from OCUK) if you do a google search you will find the site to get it from, search for ocz arc 100 240gb, same with the EVO as they are on the same site

I cant comment on the 850s as not used them but they are ment to be better performance over the 840s

the Samsung 120GB has better read and write speeds that the MX100 so I would go for the evo out of the 2 SSDs in your budget if you cant get a 250GB drive
