I had repeated crashes on my computer the other day, I discovered that closing Geforce Experience has solved this issue for me. Hope that helps others with the same problem.

One crash after days of playing is nothing to worry about.
Today Witcher 3 crashes display driver ( TDR ) when i tried to minimize game ( ALT + TAB ) . And then boom, display driver stopped resonding . Somebody said "I suspect this happens because that is when the card is boosting up in speed from the 2D desktop to 3D game speeds. When this happens the internal voltages are changing with the clock speeds and if they do not occur quick enough then the driver crashes." Maybe this is the reason? If yes so try to RMA card ?
I think everyone is certain, including Nvidia now, that here is an issue with the voltage/power control.
This is why turning of the frame limiter and setting control panel to maximum performance has alleviated things for me. It would only crash after a transition (from loading to the game or menu to the game) because the card was going from about 3% power draw to 90-100% and I think occasionally the voltage hadn't increased quick enough , therefore causing a crash.
With the control panel setting at maximum performance the power draw never goes below 40% and the core doesn't go below 1190mhz even in the menus so there is less of a jump in power and voltage when transition between the game world and menus.
No the card is broken...send it back as soon as possible!!!!
I think thats what he wants to hear as hes asked the same question 5 or 6 times now and hes paying no attention the the same answer we keep giving him
No because Jono8 said:"I think everyone is certain, including Nvidia now, that here is an issue with the voltage/power control.

And he mean that my card is faulty or its a driver issue ? ( and on next card problem will be the same )
Yeah, we know, witcher 3 keeps crashing....
Like people have already said on here, its a known problem with the current driver.
I know, why don't you play a different game, till this gets sorted?
It's just the drivers, until Nvidia get it sorted you'll have issues just like the rest of us.
Drivers mate happens all the time with my 780ti. Even happens just on desktop.
I'll say it again and for the last time, don't RMA that card until the latest drivers are out. The NVIDIA drivers have timing issues and give a much higher chance of crashing + Driver has stopped responding.
Now please just wait
Keep the card, driver issue.
The answer wont change the more times you ask the same question
Seriously though, its drivers. Ive had it a few times on my Titan
Don't worry it's just the drivers at the moment are broken. Nvidia are going to release a hotfix driver soon for the TDR problem. Your hardware is fine.
Drivers mate . Known issue.

Arghh
SHUT UP!
DRIVER ISSUE
DRIVER ISSUE
DRIVER ISSUE
DRIVER ISSUE
DRIVER ISSUE
DRIVER ISSUE
Let that sink in slowly...
