To save some room on the ssd:

- Turn off hibernation. This can take up about 10gb in some cases.
- Minimise the page file to about 2GB on the SSD.

There is a good guide here on how to set up an SSD/HDD to save space and what not.
Don't need to do every step but some of them can save you some space and improve performance a tad.
