So I bought a load of wc gear last Thursday to do the loop over the weekend.
List gear bought is as follows
2x coolstream pe 240 rads
4x noise blocker eloops pwm
EK-D5 Vario X-RES
2m PrimoChill PrimoFlex™ Advanced LRT™ 9,5 mm (3/8") / 15,9 mm (5/8")
EK Water Blocks EK-FC Titan X - Acetal+Nickel
8x XSPC G1/4" to 7/16" ID, 5/8" OD Compression Fitting.

To try and fitting it in a corsair 600t with use of dremil, but soon sussed I need a new case :o
Now I am thinking a new case and a cpu block aswell as was just going to do a loop for titan and cpu later.

Any help for a noob in over his head, would be must welcome.

Today must be help a noob day ;)

Rest of rig at the moment is

x58 sabertooth mobo
xeon x5650 @4ghz
6 gb dominator ram
gigabyte titanx
super flower 1000w plat
1tb hdd
corsair 600t

Will get new cpu, motherboard and ram at a later date.

You my have a hard time getting the 9.5mm internal diameter tube on the 11.1mm fittings.

Will probably have to warm the ends up in hot water to make it fit over, or just buy some 7/16" ID tube :)

Copper and Nickel can be mixed fine, even if you used all Nickel blocks most radiators are copper and brass so it will be a mix anyway.

Don't forget to flush out the rads before fitting them.

What fluid do you plan on using?

Thanks JP, yeh noticed the fittings when tried one on the end of the tube could not screw it on.
Going to ocuk shop tomorrow so will swap the fittings, rushed in to buying all the parts over the phone without doing my home work and now getting mad with myself.
Was planning on using Mayhems Ultra Pure H2O Watercooling Fluid 1L.
Carnt find a case I like for a 240 in top and 240 in the front, if only caselabs was sold in the uk.

Have you looked at the Phanteks Entoo Luxe?
If I was buying a case now, that'd be one on the shortlist, and can accommodate what you're looking for.

Luxe is great to build in. 240 in front and 360 in top are possible for when you expand.
Comes with pump mount plate too but you would have to check measurements on where that would fit in.

Like the look and size of the luxe, just might struggle mounting the pump res combo.
Might just buy the Phanteks Enthoo Primo Full Tower, buts its massive in height.

No problem! I like 7/16" personally but up to you if you change the tube or the fittings.

I would look at using one of the Mayhems Pastel fluids (I am using them for my new build), 2 years working system life and already contains biocides, corrosion and scale inhibitors.

I imported a Caselabs case and the build quality is amazing, check the link in my signature :)
Could always make do with what you have and get one imported! :D

Thanks again, not got clue with any of it really went for that tube as I read is
was better for not leeching plastersizer problems, any advice is more that welcome :)

Re case I'd have butcher the corsair 600t to bits just to get a 240 in the front
and I have no chance with a 240 in the top doh.
Been reading your build, its epic

Yeah Advanced LRT with Mayhems Pastel is going to be the best protection in my opinion from any plastersizer, corrosion and algal growth problems.
I have the LRT in 7/16" size, I like the larger ID and thinner walls.

I would keep your fittings and change your tube https://www.overclockers.co.uk/prod...=1530&sortby=manual_sort&subid=1775&mfrid=447

Looking at the 600T a top 240 should fit if you mount the fans on the top outside the case?

You seem pretty limited in rad/fan space unless it's on the side panel. You could take out the drive bays, creating a mounting bracket for the rad and do it that way? Or buy a gorgeous case labs case :p

Just measured the tube and its Primochill Primoflex Advanced Tubing 16/10 - Clear that I have and the fittings are XSPC G1/4" to 7/16" ID, 5/8" OD Compression Fitting
Tried putting 1 on the tube seems to tight car'nt get the threads started with a lot of force.

For coolant go for Mayhems Pastel - Pure Black Coolant 1L?

Top rad space is 30mm rad is 38mm, would have to put rad outside case & fans under it.

Yeah, you need the 16/11 tube, larger inner so thinner walls which means less plastic for the compression to fit over and screw on :)

1L should be plenty, 100ml for the res, 330ml for the rads and plenty left over for filling the blocks and tube.

If you can make it work with the rad outside it is a little ghetto but at least you can fit everything until you decide on a new case.

Have the tube in front of me its 16/11 and fittings say 7/16" id, 5/8" od
still will not fit, I must be a wuss :o
might go for the ghetto look :D

If you are going into the OcUK shop anyway for other bits I would get them to check the tube and fittings just to be sure.
They are never "easy" to fit but if you do have the wrong size, a mm can make all the difference when trying to screw the compression over it!

Let us know how you get on :)
