Problem with most Turkish flights, you fly out in the evening. With the combination of four hours flight, 2 hours in front of us and 3 hour transfer - you get to your hotel at 5am. Unless you are one of those lucky sods who can sleep on planes and coaches (not me at all) - you be fine
My colleague’s late husband came from Antalya and still has family living there. She’s well chuffed at Jet2 having a 10am flight from East Midlands.
Wash. Your. Mouth. Out.
Some Greek islands are like that too.Noticed there was no early flights, all late evenings and early morning returns?
Best to rent, never really booked hotels.it gives us absolute total freedom to get fed, drunk and then go out and eat and drink if we want.
The money we save on all inclusive compared to the idiots in the same hotel who are paying 25 Euros every time they go the bar

I'm only teasing, my brother loves all inclusive too. It works for him.it gives us absolute total freedom to get fed, drunk and then go out and eat and drink if we want.

I don't use hotels, prefer villas, they offer a level that even hotels cant come close, for example locations.Never had a problem going to hotels in 3 decades, you must have been some dodgy places.
Well you can check-in your bags when the check-in opens, they usually recommend getting there a couple of hours early. Whether they open the desk then us a different matter.I've got a trip to Barcelona on 12/10/23 however, the flight time is 06:45 and I'll arrive at Bristol Airport at 03:50. Can I still check-in my baggage at the time I arrive?

No harm in being early, get yourself to the front of the queue even if it's not open as you'll be leaving about the busiest time of the day.
I mean I say all this but I can't say I follow my own advice
Yeah check in online. That's well early though, it's usually 24-48 hours before the flight. Thanks for the advice, app states I can check-in from the 15/09/23. Basically check-in early on the app on the given date, then arrive at the airport on 12/10/23 at 03:50 and check-in my baggage I assume and stroll over to security... if hopefully not to busy?

If you just have carry on you can print off your boarding card at the airport and go straight to security. Otherwise check your bags in, pick up your boarding card from them and head to security.
Bristol, only been once and I don't remember it being a big airport - I've generally found the smaller airports a far more 'enjoyable' experience.
Yup checking in bags doesn't happen long before. You may even see your own bag getting loaded on from your seat as people board the planeThat's what I thought, check in opens 28 days before departure. We can download the boarding passes via the app, the only thing that got me was checking in the baggage only a few short hours before take off?

Are you flying a regular flight or is it part of a package? That may explain the 28 day thing.
Edit: if you have any meds or anything important take that in your hand luggage. Checked in luggage usually arrives when you do but occasionally is a bit late. Very, very occasionally in my experience.
No worries. It's a package. Thank you for the advice, noted. All new to me and have been reading up on the rules etc.
No worries.
If it's a package there may be the odd detail specific to your package, nothing major. Presumably there's some info that's come your way, or is coming your way, from the company that should mention it.
