Morning all,

My current PC is on his last legs so looking for a totally brand new build. I have done a few upgrades in the past but never a complete build. But I'm going to bite the bullet and try and build this one myself.

I have a budget of £600-700 maybe a bit more if needed. The main use would be Gaming and General use. I have a 19" Monitor/Keyboard/Mouse so just the base unit I'm after.

Looking for someone to help me pick the easiest build that should be compatable and pretty easy to put together.

If anyone could help that would be ace. :)

Thanks

Pretty much nailed the budget at £700, I think the system should be ok for your uses, if you have a bit more cash then I'd get a bigger hard drive though. Oh and the case is out of stock so you could get the Antec SLK3000 to free up a bit of cash. :)

I like both spec's, will mill over it today..

I Know I need some Artic Silver 5 also that's no problem. What about an Anti-Static band is it worth getting one? or just ground myself?

Just want to be careful when putting this together that's all. Thanks for the spec's btw guys, they both look like they will do the bussiness for time to come. :)

Just touch a radiator or your PSU

Will do. :)

Quick question about the case, I dont mind paying an extra say £30-£40 for it.

What would you recommend aound the £60 mark. I do like the look of the Thermaltake - Tsunami Dream.

The Thermaltake Tsunami Dream looks like a Coolermaster Wavemaster knock off so if it suffers from the same problems it will be a bit poor on the air-circulation front.

My recommendation for the case if firmly behind the Lian-Li PC7+ but if you don't like the look then there isn't much point. :)

You don't really need any AS5 since the retail cooler and the Tuniq Tower will come with thermal paste pre-applied.
