The bread also has a big role to play, has to be the correct type of bread. Sainsburys also do really nice fish fingers.

I often put salad in these when I make them too.

I love brown sauce but it's just wrong on fishfingers. Ketchup please. I don't use enough tartar to warrant buying it but will have it with some lovely pub fish and chips. Could make my own I suppose, it's not difficult after all.

No way brown sauce, red maybe but I think Tartare is the best or Mayo as an alternative, for variation grate a little cheese on top and/or fry an egg and add.
