Fish - how often do you have it?

One thing I wish I saw more (I saw it once in Morrisons and there was only 1, because it had come in by mistake) is red mullet. I love it. I don't have a fishmonger which is near me and the nearest one is only open on Saturday mornings - I don't get chance to get there during the week.

There's a French town where I lived during my uni time (Carcassonne, in the South West) and there was an amazing restaurant there called l'Opera Bouffe - I only ate there once during my student days but have been back many times since then. They made an AMAZING red mullet tagine which I must have had about 4 out of the 6 times I've been!

Last time I went to Carcassonne, it was closed down. :(

Never. I can't stand any seafood. Not since staying with my uncle and aunt when it was cod for dinner every other day. I hated fish then, and I hate it now. In fact, it was before then when I hated fish. I used to be made to eat all kinds of horrible stuff when I was a kid, such as pilchard fishcakes *vomits*.

fish is one of the best sources of omega oils and fats and protein u can get tbh ''

problem is i love prawns and crayfish tails also high in cholesterol

2+ times a week. Fish is awsome.

Last night I did a lovely parma ham wrapped fillet of mackerel with a whole-grain mustard and creme fraiche drizzle on a bed of pea shoots and lettuce. Tasted great, but I made the mistake of wearing the same shirt to work this morning, so smell like a fish :/

Righto chaps and chapettes this thread has inspired me to go out and get some fish, I never cook it unless I'm barbecueing it so some advice would be great. I got a couple of lovely seabass fillets and have my veg and potatoes, how would you cook it and what sauces/seasonings would you use? I was thinking of a lemon and black pepper butter and just bake them in tinfoil. Sound good?

I eat fish whenever I feel like it, its a reasonably regular part of my diet and I love it. Very healthy and full of nommy goodness. Sea Bass with garlic... *drools*

I probably average 5 times a week. Smoked mackerel most days and loads of fresh fish of various sorts; slightly less into shellfish but I eat prawns like they go out of fashion :)
