You may just be feeling the scratch the bone made, rather than the bone... Are you sure it is the bone still?

i wouldnt suggest the random person tweezer action down the throat best get someone who knows first aid experience with this sort of thing!

get someoen to take a look down your gullet to see if they can see anything. if its really uncomfortable, go to the hospital as others have suggested.

A&E? For a Fish Bone?

Talk about hypochondriacs....its an ikko bone, its not like hes guzzled on a litre of bleach or anything. No wonder the NHS is overcrowded.

Fish bones are tiny (like a hair normally). Doubt it will cause any pain hehe. I have had bones stuck in my throat after eating fish.. just wait and it will free itself eventually. I don't think it's serious enough for A and E, unless I am missing something.

Yes, several times. I ate some chips, or potato, or a few rounds of bread and it dislodged itself.

A&E does sound a bit too much but it will not go away, I ate a lot of bread just now and it's still there, coughing also doesn't help and only irritates my throat.

just go to the hospital, it will take them 5 mins to take it out. not like its major surgery that holds up heart transplant patients.

Yes, all the time when I was eating nice fresh fish back home, I coughed a bit, swallowed hard a bit, and all the suddent it was gone, what are you, a girl?

Probibly not the one you want to try but what about makeing yourself vomit? old fingers down neck trick. Failing that when it happends to me I usaly take a few pain killers to numb the feeling and just ignore it, seems to go away after a while.
