Fitting Door Pins 106

Don't like the tints still, especially as the rears are a different shade to the front. The TT's fuel cap doesn't look bad but thats because its silver - on any other colour I still prefer a bodycolour one. The pedals don't really add anything, apart from draw attention to them. And I still think the mesh would look better in black, plus it was designed to have that mesh not as an addition.

But each to their own and all, I'm sure plenty of people despise my rear lights :)

Yes and your lights are undefendable :P

Well they just make the rear of the car look a bit different to the 10,000 other saxos you see every day without being gash as **** with tinting spray or lexarse ones.

But on my next car, no cosmetic changes :)

They are attached to a rod and retangular shaped. To remove them you have to cut them off, thats all I know. What are the new ones like, are they supposed to stick over the old ones or what? I personally wouldn't bother mate.

Its 2 new door pins, With a small hole at the bottem of them "for the rod".

"To remove them you have to cut them off," Cant cut em off, beacuse I can see the rod :s

Well the door card needs to come off. Should be a couple of Torx T20 screws (not sure on actual placement on a 106), then you will need to pull off the bit of plastic where the mirror adjustment is and finally pull the door card off gently levering with a screwdriver for all the plastic clips to come undone (you will probably need to get a few more of these from peugeot as they snap easily).

Then there will be a sheet of polystyrene/foam type material - make a slit in this just below the lock pin and you will be able to feel the rod behind. The best way I would do it would be to remove this rod which simply pushes back from the door latch and pull it up through the top. Then saw the old plastic one off right at the very top of the rod. Then attach the new doorpin back on and reverse the proceedure. A lot of effort for little (no) gain really.
