The iPhone may have more features than the iPhone but I am willing to bet that the iPhone keeps its crown and is the easier to use.

You can use iPlayer over 3G if it's jailbroken although it's at your own risk. There is a tool that tricks the phone into thinking it's on a wifi connection when it's actually using 3G.

IMO the only howler on the iPhone is the miserable camera (hardware & software). No excuse for not improving it to some degree when they revised the hardware.

I'm very willing to forgive them for lack of flash given that Mobile Safari destroys all that came before it in terms of usability.

It is hard to take a lot of competitor phones seriously when every member of their design team blatantly had an iPhone on their desk as the reference.

Yeah, I was in a lecture at Uni earlier and watched someone in front of me trying to connect to the public wifi on his N95 and it was a painful experience. The (real) Internet is designed to be used with a mouse and I think that the touch interface is probably the best replacement for the mouse on mobile devices.
