Flashforward

A few of my friends are transfixed, i'd assume that they aren't the only ones. Still, 5 only have this and the Gadget Show. They're in trouble aren't they? :p

I had the misfortune of seeing the gadget show earlier. .... apart from the fluffy load of rubbish the spout, are they receiving a fee for everytime they say 'tech'?

Another crap episode, this show is a train wreck - will it be cancelled before the end of the first season?

If the woman was so concerned about starting a domino effect - why did she make the phonecall in the first place?

Some FBI agent Benford is - sheesh... I reckon my cat could be more capable agent.

Wait, what - Olivia benford has been avoiding Simcoe for 9 episodes and now shes's his best buddy?

Benford should have just crushed his gun in a gun crusher.

Nice LCD TV getting smashed up then displaying a 'fuzzy' picture...

So the lesbian FBI agent is going to get artificial semination because it was in her flashforward?... yes, good idea, love.

Hobbit is right, Simcoe is wrong about the whole they did it thing..... Why all the press conference etc....?? I don't get it. Especially given they are scientists, not Max Clifford re-incarnated.

What's with all the Jericho stuff in last episodes, and random ring-holding gun shooting murderer dude? Surely there's some connection here - Super FBI agent Mark hasn't connected any of that yet ? (3 stars etc - I get the feeling mark thinks there's one dude with 3 stars) They all seemed to proudly display it....

this show is messed up... It's like there's 20 writers writing it - but they aren't talking to each other.

There's only one possible explanation for the bad writing on this show... it's because the writers were LOADED, OKAY? ;)

Hahaha.

It's a terrible program.

My wife admitted today that she reckons it's garbage. I think we were both putting up with it on the assumption that the other was enjoying it.

Got rid of the timer on the PVR now.

I've just realised that I've only been following this because it it so bad...

First couple eps --- Wooo looks neat, interesting premise..

ep 3 to ep 5/6 -- Holy moly - what is happening surely it's going to get better, it must just be warming up

Ep 7-10 - OMG, this gets so bad it is like a train wreck... must.... stop.... watching.... but like a car crash strangely entrancing.

Edit, I just got the LOADED OK? joke. Roffles.

I havent seen any episodes, but I feel that a lot of you are being unfairly cruel.

Its ratings are very high in the USA and I can't believe that something so bad can consistently get these good ratings.

The first few episodes can bring in the big numbers, based purely on marketing and advertising. But if the show is as bad as is being made out here, there is no way that the show can sustain these high viewing figures.

Ah, but these are Americans we're talking about here.

Like Heroes, the first series was immense. But since that was they'll immediately assume the others are too, which just isn't the case.

Actually the ratings have nose dived in the US which is why there is some doubt as to whether it will even be allowed to finish the season, never mind a second season.

Check out the reviews and reader comments here for example...

(no episode 10 yet because for once the US is lagging the UK schedule)

Exactly the same here - at first I was hooked, it was a great pilot episode. Then I gradually realised I was getting bored, then I increasingly realised I didn't like any of the characters very much, if at all... then I noticed the stupid writing and the glaring plotholes and inconsistencies.

It is embarrasingly bad :(:D

I too enjoy this show...its a bit of easy watching american sci-drama type thing.

And lets face it, no matter how bad it is, its still 1000x better than watching eastenders/coronation street/waterloo road etc with the wife.

Yes Benford is a terrible agent, and yes demitri shouldnt be called demitiri because he simply doesnt suit his name, yes the hobbit is completely mis cast in every part he plays in everything except lord of the rings, yes cancer doctor looks remarkably well considering his condition/treatment and yes its trying to be baffling for the sake of it.

BUT so what, its better than watching eastenders/coronation street/waterloo road etc with the wife....oh i already said that, but its the truth :p

and and and

the super hot chick in the hospital who talks to cancer doctor, why doesnt she get more air time?

but yea, the hobbit does not suit his role whatsoever, least convincing villain wannabe ever? you just cant act tough if you look as though you could not fight your way out of a paper bag.

What was with the way they 'smashed' the LCD TV up?

continuity was broken. Something I'm seeing LOADS of in programmes these days , I just keep seeing continuity errors everywhere, but anyway aside from that when was the last time you saw a TV display a the black and white fuzz when there's no signal? about 1986 or something these days it's a blue or a black screen... also the screen would be broken, surely, or at least the glass cracked, it just seemed so unrealisticly unneeded. But it was needed! So he could crack the joke later about the T Vbeing like that cos they were in hong kong or something. It's all so contrived..

Great link above by the way whoever posted it with the ep run downs.
