Hated the music personally, not to my listening tastes. The game was very good though. I shall be buying this remake in the hope that the online mode works better than the buggy mess in FO2. Even with the 1.2 patch it was unstable and buggy, lobby was prone to silent disconnect/connection drop. The only way you'd know was by trying to leave the game lobby you were currently in, at which point you'd be stuck in a infinite connection attempt loop and have to alt-tab/close the game.

Don't really want to start an debate/arguement, but all I'm gonna say is that I've played the Trackmanias, Worms 4, TOCA 3, DiRT and Act Of War across 3 different computers and never had any problems with any of them.

Anyahoot, bit annoyed to find its delayed but suppose I can wait an extra 3 weeks if it means the game will be slightly more polished. Have also found it for £15 now, which is nice and cheap :)
 
I figured this was a different game originally...Hence the different name.

I may have to pick this up instead of the second one now then.
 
Still on the fence on this one. £15 a great price but is it actually any different to FO2 in terms of tracks can anyone confirm? Read somewhere the gfx had been upgraded and there were a couple of new cars but is that it?

Oh and native support for the xb360 pad is great, but you could replicate in FO2 using xpadder pretty easily anyway, inc menu support!
 
See i got it running fine on my 360 pad no problems at all??? really odd

FO2 is a genius game, may well have to reinstall it later :D
 
FO2 was superb, id have knocked a slight amount off its 'score' per se, only due to lack of bots in LAN mode - that would have made it a truly everlasting game!!

And i've no idea why they couldnt do it, as the pathfinding etc is already in for the characters?!

Oh yea, and I hope they sort out Martinez with a SMALL car in the last race series, giving her the best skillz in a massive truck was never a great idea, made the last circuits getting on towards a real racing sim.... :p
 
Has anyone seen any press releases on this? Release date on a well known shop is 01 August but it's already slipped once - not that convinced it's actually going to hit that date.

Should be

Flatout 2 with updated graphics, a couple of extra cars and some additional games modes. Ive already got Flatout 2 and ive preordered this. Yeah its gonna be very very similar to FO2 but im more than will to pay £15 for better graphics and hopefully an improved online mode.
