FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage

Can't wait only 5 days till release got it on preorder hopefully get it a couple of days early from the 'ladder logo' company. I know people are saying its very similar in terms of tracks to Flatout 2 but i never actually played the second one so should be a refreshing experience. :) The multiplayer looks like great fun.

just read a PC review, this is just a small update, 2.5 as you would call it, basically flatout2 with a few bits added, still be great though

Just picked this up, loving it, great fun and loads of upgrades for the vehicles. Very similar to Burnout just a bit more mad. Quite addictive aswell.

This game is totally like Burnout. The gameplay, graphics and menus look and feel like burnout. To the screen blur effect with nitro even down to the art work on the DVD case.

I'm really enjoying this game and yes has a very Burnout feel to it, which is obviously a good thing.
Graphics and handling are both excellent and the carnage mode is great.

Worthwhile purchase.

I wouldn't really call it Flatout 2.5 more like Flatout 2.01.

I'm not fussed as I would have bought Flatout 2 exactly as it was to own it on the 360 with Live etc. but to market this as a whole new game is really taking the pee IMO.

If I bought this on PC after shelling out for Flatout 2 I would not be a happy bunny :(

Its quite hard actually, its not like burnout in the sense the nitro seems to be a bit random even when you whack into someone you dont seem to get extra nitro, so sometimes you drive for ages and you cant boost.

Me too, been playing it on and off all night... very fun. Online derbies are cracking fun in the right room, we'll have to get some games going tommorow :)

Finally got this today, it's just fantstic. As somebody already said, it is basically Flatout 2.5, but that doesn't matter, it's great being able to play it on the 360, and it is an absolute blast over live :D
