Flava - Dance Troupe

Didn't think that was all that special; the crowd were way too easily pleased.

Kudos that they can 'dance' in time with each other and perform, but not exactly enthralling.

I think the whole programme is an awful waste of time.

Best just watching the highlights on youtube.

They were good but I've nothing to compare them against.

Which I think is why these talent contests are no good. Have a dance off or something how do you pick between them and someone who can do magic?

I think the reaction was 80% because of the sound fx and the music, I've met better in the street.

Should put all this talent nonsense in a Battle Royale type scenario, including the judges.

I was disappointed in that I dont think we got to see enough of their performance, it all appeared heavily cut.

I also concur that the audience and panel were too easily pleased. What they were doing isn't new and although the mum choreographed it you only have to see Hilty and Bosch in 2005 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Y3OzrnBBlc) to see the similarities in the popping and locking section they do.

Still, kudos to them for getting out there and doing it. I did really like it, especially the bit where they used different peoples legs and bodies to form 1 person, very effective.

I'd hate to think what the panel/audience would have done if Hilty and Bosch or Umin (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsFkmMWnwog) came out and did their performance.

if you think Flava are good do a search for "jabbawockeez" on youtube american dance group and much better

Keep in mind that these are kids not a professional dance troop and they are excellent, no they aren't the best out there but the best out there would debase themselves by appearing in the same room as Simon Cowell ;)

Jesus - slight crowd overreaction I think.

Not to take anything away from the kids though- theyre great for amateurs and with such exposure they could well get the funding and support required for great development :)
