Flip Flops thread

I can't wear flip-flops, they just fall off my feet unless I scrunch my toes up while walking which makes my arches cramp badly. My feet are really wide, so I guess my toes are just too far apart to hold flip-flops on.

My feet don't get sweaty or smelly in the heat so I'm happy to wear trainers all year round.

In-Between Toe Flip Flops are the work of the devil.

Only ones I wear are similar to these, and only on the beach.

I have a few pairs of flip flops. The only trouble I have with proper sponge ones is that they have no heel on them and make my calves ache.

I have a nice leather Fly London pair that have proper soles that I can walk miles in. They're a must in warm, dry weather.

doesn't that buckle at the back rub?

I think it is just a foam pad, precisely for the reason that it won't rub and the clip is to the side of the heel at a point where it is kept away from the foot too much. At least that is how it is on my sandals - although I can easily go from one year to another without wearing them unless I'm going kayaking.

I prefer walking bare foot. always do it when i go on holiday, but can't really do it around a town :(

stupid chavs with glass bottles.

Not wanting to be a footwear troll but that my friend is a sandal and has no place in this thread. A flip flop hangs from the front of the foot between the toes, the name is onomatopoeic due to the noise when walking.

:)

I can't stand flip flops with the in toe bit but I don't mind sort of slippy onny sort of things. In fact, I need a new pair so I shall have to go shopping.
