Flip Flops thread

Hate flip flops - always feel like they're going to drop off :(

I have a pair of Nike sandals and have had them ages. Weigh nothing and comfortable as anything :) Only really wear them on holiday, washing the car and round the garden though.
 
What exactly is so good about flip flops? They're terribly restrictive flipping and flopping about all over the place. Bare feet are better than flip flops.

Whatever happened to that flip flops flyin website?

Always hated them with a passion for some reason. That said I'm going on my first aborad holiday in October so I've convinced into getting some shorts. I don't think I'm going to take them off now, nice and airy :D
 
I use them at work, so nice and easy.

Or to just pop out close to home, easier and faster then normal shoes.
 
I have to say, I'm a girl who prefers to wear nice sandals rather than flip flops, as they tend to make my feet ache, but I do have a nice pair of Havaianas for the beach/pool :)

Where men are concerned, I would much rather see them in flip flops than horrible chunky sandals!
