MCD = Ok m8 sorted./

Gonna be a tight squeeze dude :(

All the crap I took to GT12 filled my boot entirely - then I've still got to get Windles gear in and leave a seat for Nokkon :(

Maybe I need to downsize to a smaller case :D (Any ideas?)

//edit: If you need a hand with servers there may be a solution - will email you tomorrow to discuss though - need some sleep again :(

Booked my train tickets today. Should be arriving in Carmarthen at around 12:40am going by the timetable.

Equipment wise I'm bringing the following:
360
1x Wired pad

I can bring an 8 port 3Com gigabit switch if required and a couple of Cat5e cables.

I'm still in need of a screen/monitor to loan OR I'm going to need to rent a screen locally (anywhere you know of UE?) or even buy a cheap LCD and get it delivered to UE's for the LAN.

Zico, I don't suppose you hit Manchester Picadilly at noon'ish do you?

Nowhere near that I'm afraid. Canterbury is south east of London so that's as far north as I go on the train.

Outward Journey: Friday, 09/11/2007
departs CANTERBURY EAST at 06:14 to LONDON VICTORIA arrives 07:54
departs LONDON VICTORIA at 07:54 to LONDON PADDINGTON arrives 08:45
departs LONDON PADDINGTON at 08:45 to SWANSEA arrives 11:43
departs SWANSEA at 11:50 to CARMARTHEN arrives 12:40

I know Canterbury, absolutely stunning place.
My gran lives in Ramsgate, before that it was Broadstairs so Canterbury is a nice day out.

I wasn't sure if you were going up to Manchester then across.
Guess I'll just see you at the LAN then :P.

How much has your train journey cost you?

I'm bringing a 19" and a 15" if you have the vga cable for the xbox mate. Take your pick
!

Tickets cost me £59.50 for two singles (£36 up and £23.50 back).

I would have thought that going up to Manchester and then back down would have been a major detour for me (not that I even considered that as an option). Network rail/Trainline only ever gave me a journey via London with either 3 or 4 changes (though I managed to get a 2 change journey back).

Zico - the route you've got is perfect, should be a nice journey (although do remember to have some hard boiled sweets ready for the looooooooooooooong tunnel after Bristol Temple Meads - ear popping moment galore)

tl;dr

I'm slightly interested in tagging along, even though I don't know any of you, but just a couple of questions. Will it just be a general mish mash of whatever games people have? And I assume people will be bringing various installer CDs so everyone has the same games.
Second problem is transport. I don't really want to lug my PC on the train, but I have no car currently, and my parents wouldn't appreciate me using theirs for the whole weekend, so I'd need a lift.
Will anyone be passing near Stratford upon Avon? (Cv37 9SF) Its near Warwick (I'd be happy to pay towards petrol).

Whilst there will be PC users, the majority seem to be taking Xbox360's with the general games of choice: Halo 3, PGR4, Call of Duty 4, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Ghost Recon 2, Pro Evo 2008 etc..

Hmm, never touched a 360 before :/
Are there going to be enough PCs there to justify me coming?

Also, I have munchkin, and can possibly 'borrow' a couple of other board games from the gaming and RP society at uni if anyone is interested (Illuminati and Settlers of Catan).
