Today we were out sunbathing and there was a hover fly annoying us. One of our mates said she used to catch bee's and freeze them for 10minutes, tie a piece of nylon thread to its leg then put it back in the sun to let it wake up.
When it wakes you have a bee that flies off still attatched.

We cought the hoverfly and froze it for a bit, then put it in th sun to let it wake up. It flew off taking the thread with it, after a few minutes it came free and flew off. Im going to try it soon with wasps because bees are nice and have for a purpose (unlike wasps)

Its fun

Bee on a string, got the idea from a CKY video years ago, works well but just don't let go with the string on as they could get caught in something which is a bit cruel (although so is putting them in the freezer and such)

I did this once, and the wasp just flew at my face, and I just ran away from it like little girl whilst still holding the string... :o :(

I don't understand? So you'd have the bee on a lead? Then what? You rip it's leg off? I don't quite understand.

Never knew that you could freeze them and they'd wake up again afterwards?

Anyway, I hope they sting you and you have a nice big allergic reaction. :)

Try attaching two or more of these creatures together with the thread. I wonder what they would do when they all fly off. :p
