I'll give you 10 off the top of my head

1) Focus CC = Ugly car
2) Overpriced
3) Lower quality than used alternatives
4) Depreciation as soon as driven off the forecourt
5) No guarantee of whether it has been jiggied with or not :D even as a new car
6) Not even as good as its competitors - namely the VW EOS
7) Poor performance
8) Poor residuals
9) Its a Ford. You could have an Audi
10) Its a girl's cab.....

Man cabs are 3 Series, A4, Volve C70, VW EOS.
Girl cab's are StreetKA, Mini, Megane, Focus, 207, 307/8, etc

Jeff.....Focus = not a good idea
 
Just buy the Focus man.

If youre happy with it, good for you. There is no major problem with that car, i.e it is not renouned for any epic parts failures or major flaws in design/construction/quality at its price point (for a new car).

One comment on what practially everyone else has said. Suffice to say your passing up a lot of clearly better cars because of this "new car" mentality. Your choice though, as soon as I post this it wont matter 1 iota to me.

No one has mentioned roof leaks because that issue is FIXED

We are not stating just opinion, there are facts in there also, such as :

They are not selling because there are better cars out there, FACT

A second hand car (i.e. A4, Z4) is a better car for the same money, FACT (prove me wrong!)

You WILL lose thousands when you come to sell it, even if it is in 6 months, FACT

You said give a reason not to buy the car, we all have, I even gave you a reason to buy it until you said how much you were spending on it.

You dont make sense. You just want to get A-B... why not buy a Fiesta? Its more practical than the CC.
 
I actually think its quite good. This guy is Mr Public, its how the public buy cars. He thinks my car is a cut above him, and Morba is a 'premium buyer' and he can only buy 'lowly Fords' (his words).

Even though we all spent loads less. It demonstrates how, if you've got clue, you can really 'punch above your weight' when buying cars.

Spot on. The amount of people that have come to me and said something along the lines of "bloody hell, you must be paid well/How can you afford that/its alright for some" is unbelievable. Even more so with the private plate on.

The on that made me laugh the most was a lad I played football with who's just picked up a brand new 5 door Megane hatchback. His face when I told him I had spent less than he had was priceless :D

I think I need to work at a car dealership if people are this adament about buying a new car.
Buying new is just stupid. Just buy something a few months/years old. You think people are gonna stop in the street and say "Wow a brand new Focus CC3, Damn that man might be gay but he made the sensible choice, but I'm sure I can smell vaginal odour from the gearstick"
I've just given up a BRAND new astra to buy a OLD bmw. Never been happier.
 
Jeff are you a girl, as I don't think a man would ever argue so irrationally as you have ? Fox isn't a snob, he is just special in his own little way, much like the rest of us in here :D

Just hurry up and buy the chopped roof average mobile and go about your life being happy. Then us car enthusiasts can get on with what we do best...... Trying to help out the next poor sod who is about to throw money down a well.
