Well once again congrats on another 1mil PPD week, including a team stomp of Poland!

With another team stomp due this week things are looking pretty good for team 10 :)

On a personal note one of my 260's appears to have died :(, but I can still hit around 27K, and I'll switch my Q6600 back over to folding for the stomp monster event, which brings me nicely to...

STOMP MONSTER! - If you've not seen the thread here we are having a little combined folding event to see if we can get a user to 1 mil PPD and maybe see if can worry a few of the top folders :D The start date is tomorrow so get ready to switch your clients over!

And may I be the first to say I for one welcome our new all powerful stomping overlord ;):D

Ta for the news dekez, my new board hasnt arrived yet, although funnily enough the 3/8 tubing that was shipped from OCUK has arrived. Bloody typical the tubing I could have waited for.

Thanks for the news Mr dekez :) Nice tiffy didgemaster well done sah :D

Are we all switching over on the stroke of midnight then? (oops sorry i mentioned the s word where Mr Blofeld was) :):)

My main crunching rig will be going over to STOMP_MONSTER as soon as the current SMP is finished which is predicted @ just before midnight (if i'm still awake that is ;)). The games rig will follow at some point as it still has some SETI WU's to go through to clear its cache or sooner if we are falling short of the mark with stompy.

I believe so Mr T, Im hoping to be up and running tomorrow, providing the new board arrives tomorrow.

This countdown is a lot more interesting than the New Years Eve one :)

Hope the board arrives and all goes well, theres a rather nice one on mm i thought someone might have spotted ;):)

Thanks for the news Dekez

Currently giving my system some testing with folding and awaiting Stomp_Monster fun :)

Just find this F6 bios on this board horrible compared to the old one on my old board that still probably works but don't fancy taking everything apart :(

Remember it's christmas so take it easy, no physical assaults on the hardware until the new year at least :)

I know that feeling in my rage yesterday I said no more overclocking, folding or watercooling. I even put the WC kit on the MM, funnily enough it was my misses that told me not to sell it, only as she knew I'd be buying more of 3 months down the line though.

Well i shall be switching over to Stomp_Monster some time tommorow just before Midnight.
With Luck this system holds out as its been playing up over the last few days.
Ive just had to swap the bios chip on the mobo as i was getting this error

Not Enough Space in Runtime Area: SMbios data will not be available. Press F1 to continue.
No matter what i did it would not boot or continue after pressing F1.
Always came up after it was checkin NVRam.

But since swapping the bios chip over it seems to be working, thank god i dont throw out non working or partially working parts.
If i had id be without any working systems.

Bloody folding2 is down again, looks like another BSOD hang and I've no idea what is causing it. Could be the new motherboard I guess or the PSU. Overclock seems stable as it passes LinX.

Won't even post now!

Well looks like I might of found at least one possible cause of the problems, quite silly actually. I mentioned a very bad sounding noise in one of the previous threads coming from my GTX460s. Well it looks like the labels with the model/serial number EVGA put on the cards have been coming off and hitting the fan blades. Quite a silly setup really, the placement of the labels is in the wrong place, especially considering how often GTX460 SLi is done! Anyways it caused the fans to slow down and the cards to reach near 100c, so with that sorted hopefully the whole system will be far more stable.

:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Mr 9800GT has died

R.I.P :(

PC wouldn't start, locked up twice and Blue screen once,
Device Manager says "Windows has stopped this device (Code 43)"
I've taken it out and clean it and checked the card seems OK but it has been making a high pitched wine lately tho

I'm guessing its dead ?

Sounds like it might be yeah, the whine could be one of the coils or caps on the way out. Is it still under warranty?
