nice to see a few points churning out again.
I have a question though...
my 970 is running core 18s all the time , right now a 10475 and the ppd seems low, 182k ppd and my core clock is at 1427. was a little more but just added heat and made no difference to the PPD. how are you low getting 250k plus?

I don't , I also run a amd 290 aswell which gets better ppd, could the 2 together be causing the 970 to run slower? I know the 970 isn't affecting the 290 as that's the same speed as before I added the 970.

ive just downloaded it though lol, no idea how to set it up but having a look now

are you running 1 or 2 780tis?

If the ppd was really good with this 970 I was going to offload my 290 to another machine I need to finish and get another 970

I hope you have better luck than me then !!!! I have 3 clients on 3 systems in my sig, the 3rd system is using the gpu and cpu, the others just a couple of cores on the cpu's atm. My 780ti is windforce 3x and i have set the fans to 70% and the temp limit to 60c to keep it cool and stop it heating the room too much, it is running at around 55 to 60% of the power limit as the temp limit keeps it throttled down but still getting 180k ppd or thereabouts. With no restriction on temp it was getting 280k ppd but running around 86c and loud ! I'm happy to leave it running 24/7 at 60c and it will probably chug along nicely for years :)

HFM won't configure either, followed the instructions but when i click add client i get different screen to that on the website, i put in the ip address, port and password but no connection to the clients :(

I'll just keep using teamviewer to keep an eye on the clients I reckon.

these 290s don't half heat up the front room, im going to have to split my 2 gpus up and run the 290 in another room or my shed if the wifi reaches that far!, on the plus side I could then add something like a 950 or 960 to join my 970 and still be fairly cool.
