I've only had the 6811 on the GTX470s

Have you guys updated your Fermi apps? The latest is 2.13. If you are on 2.11 let it finish the WU its on, then stop your client, delete FahCore_15.exe and it will download the latest version.
 
You can see it in HFM in the Core column or if you look in the log file it will say:

12:03:31] Folding@Home GPU Core
[12:03:31] Version 2.13 (Mon Nov 8 13:19:45 PST 2010)
 
Just checked mine and it's running 2.11, I'll update the core when I get home.

I thought it did all that type of stuff automatically, is this a bug or do you always need to update cores?
