well im not exactly a top dumper but playing football manager 2007 has knocked 50% off my production from last week, doh

oh also im back in the single machine category for now as the office machines are being wiped and reset as i speak, hopefully i can put F@H back on when they return though :]

Bloody hell Concorde, thats a mighty beast ya have there!

I think my VF-900Cu is dying... I am 80% certain its the fan that's squeaking

Need to bring my PC downstairs sometime soon and see if it is the fan - I don't really want to RMA it because it would leave me without a VGA cooler [doubt I could reattach the HIS ICEQ3 Cooler] but its also under-performing, my temps haven't changed since replacing it. Gonna have to remount... anyone got any tips how to apply thermal paste to a GPU?

ive only ever stuck on one arctic cooler on an old 6800GT, i just did the paste like a normal cpu, stuck a tiny bit of AS5 in the middle and spread it a little with a bit of plastic card, then left pressure of heatsink even it out

I did the ole stick a blob in the middle method that AS5 recommends. I think I may have put too much. Blob was absolutely tiny but AS5 is pretty thick stuff so maybe it would benefit from being spread out first.

Might do it later actually, its just mustering up the effort in unplugging PC, lugging 20+KG downstairs and mucking about inside lol.

edit - how did you arrive at that figure?

If I look at the week stats on EOC I have 1200, if I look at last 7 days it adds up to 1830

I've double checked and it's definately correct - must just be the timing of a small WU or two

19/10/06: 253 divinemadness 4434 25
26/10/06: 228 divinemadness 6220 30

5 WUs for a total of 1786 points
