When I applied my Freezer Pro I put the most tiny amount on as possible and spread it sooo sooo thinly - seemed to work fine for me, after all it's just got to fill any grooves - metal on metal is always a good thing where possible

Air bubbles or too much more common that metal on metal.

But metal, compound, metal is better, unless both surfaces are super micro mirror flat (and most of us don't have the tech for that)

Yeah I reckon I just used a tad too much AS5 - it's thick stuff and the GPU core is a lot smaller than a CPU heatspreader, I suspect it's not difficult to add too much

I'm just gonna have to hope the squeaky fan is a case fan.

Looks like I'll have to get rid of Vista, install XP, get the video card crunching and hope for some decent WU's.

Dammit - I'm getting to the stage now where it's going to take a lot of time to stomp people again.... I think next week I should be able to manage 9k+ now that I've got the boxes running nicely - it all depends on the WUs I get though...

I'm coming through - albeit slowly... but I'm getting there....

Damn me and my games! My production is down by around 200PPD.. has been for the last couple of days :eek:

Don't think I can get up to 9k a week any time soon - not until new PC is built. Looks like you will be getting away from me again for the short term!

what you running, I've two E6300s at like 3.1/3.2GHz and sometimes the X1900XT/GTs running too and you're getting about the same RAC as me.

For the last week:

400x7 E6600 two CPU clients - X1900XTX which gives 820PPD.

YOu should all be ashamed because on wendnesday everything went **** up and no crunching happened ALL wendnesday :eek:

What MB and RAM are you using Concorde ? My E6800 keeps getting stuck at 3.5Ghz .. then it blows up. Have you messed with the voltages at all or just up'd the FSB and dropped the stepping aka - 400x7 ?

My second C2D is about to hit the airways - It's my Media Center Box:
C2D E6600
1GB OZC DDR2-800
Intel DG965SSCK MB
Will get another x1900XTX next month I think.

Started at 400FSB and clockgened to 440mhz.

Ram at 4-4-4-12 @ 2.15V

NB V @ max
SB V @ 1.5V
CPU V @ 1.5625V (1.505V actual)
FSB Term @ 1.4V

Yummy.
