Food you remember from the 80s

- Cheese Moments (nowhere seems to sell these anymore)
- Quattro fizzy drink
- Cadbury's Creme eggs the size of chicken eggs and not hummingbird eggs

EBay or Amazon for Cheese Moments - awesome!

Anyone remember hamwiches? Ham and cheese covered in breadcrumbs... properly loved them as a kid.

Used to love these too and noticed that Tesco are seeking them (Bernard Matthews). Got some last week and the kids loved them, were 2 bags for £3.

A battered king rib supper, I used to love them when I was a kid. I’ll stick with haggis these days instead, there’s likely to be less dodgy stuff in a haggis :p

Puffa puffa rice
Fry’s 5 centres
Pyramint
Slime slurps
Peak cola (in plastic ‘cans’)
Bright green American cream soda in a glass bottle

Can anyone remember the name of a cake/dessert - I think it was a frozen one - It was a bit like a gateaux, and from what I remember it had small toffee balls on the top, I think it was almost a cream and mousse consistency?

Vienetta?

Creamola Foam. Although think it was around well before and after the 80s. Gone now tho
Never to return, the recipe is lost!

They’ve been trying to find tubs of the stuff from the back of gran’s cupboards so they can recreate but no luck apparently.

Always was partial to Crispy Pancakes.

I wonder if they are the same thing, they used to come as 4 in a little square plastic box looking thing. Either way they were a winner when I was young :)

Walls romantica?

Check your corner shops / newsagents for Cheese Moments. I know of 2 locally that sell them and cheaper than Amazon / eBay bulk buying.
