Had a bet on this match. Since Bath have pulled out of the league in future, they haven't won a match and their manager doesn't bother going to games. Stupid bookies just look at the league table though. Easy cash. :)

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard will miss out as he needs another seven to 10 days to overcome a groin problem.

After a week's rest boss Rafael Benitez may stick with the same side knocked out of the Champions League by Chelsea.

Arsenal will be without leading scorer Robin van Persie (groin) and striker Emmanuel Adebayor (hamstring) for the trip to Anfield.

Full-back Bacary Sagna has recovered from a virus and could feature along with fit-again Croatia forward Eduardo.

Polish goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski will again deputise for the injured Manuel Almunia (ankle).

Defenders Gael Clichy (back), William Gallas (knee) and Johan Djourou (knee) are all sidelined.

Just when Arsenal looked like they'd finish the season with a strong first team they get 5/6 first team injuries in the space of a week again. This is starting to take the **** a little bit.

*bangs head against wall*

I honestly didn't think this was why Wenger had taken them off? Or just by freaky coincidence (wouldn't surprise me) did they end up injured?

Liverpool don't have Gerard, but we have half a first team defence and no attack. Plus we played two days ago whereas Liverpool got a rest this weekend. I spy a mauling aka that 4-1 a few years back. Being Liverpool I also predict us gooners being angry/feeling robbed at full time rather than humiliated.
