Anelka is way too selfish to play any kind of creative role in a team. They'd almost be better off playing Drogba there, and letting Anelka just charge off up front like he's blatently dying to do.
 
Gaaah get Malouda on, get some width and shoot Anelja while you are at it. He has a burst of pace slightly less than the average snail and a Turning circle a tanker would be ashamed of.

Honest question as I haven't watched them this season much, are Chelsea normally so clueless going forward? Surely playing with a bit of width than trying to stomp through the middle with clumpers like Mikel would be of a benefit to you? Especially with class like Torres and the Drog upfront.
 
Good bit of play by 'Pool there. Despite being away, I think holding onto the ball a bit could get them something here.
 
Much lke Chelsea'a attacks, I honestly can't be bothered to craft a good sentence here, so I'll give you the key points, and let you work it out yourself:

  • Retaining possession good.
  • Gerrard's ridiculous hollywood passes bad.
