What a disgrace...2 footed tackle in the air..studs showing but it isn't a red? regardless if the tackle before was bad that has to be red. lol Nani also.

Great first half from Liverpool though.

Despite giving us the facts no doubt many Scouse will claim Carragher was had done by, Nani dived and Samba Nev should get a lifetime ban

Assuming you are on about Rafael? Carra was one footed but very high.
 
We need to sort this out at half time and calm things down or it'll be red card time again. I don't know if Nani is really hurt or just being a big Jess.
 
Well last 5mins mental! We deserve our lead BUT were very fortunate Carra hasn't been sent off for a stupid challange.

Rafael is also lucky to still be on so both teams if follow rule book should be on ten men. Can see far more yellow cards and Ref should NOT stand away and let players square up like he did when Rafael fouled.

Suarez little dribbles round UTD defence was awesome and Kuyt our little poacher benefited so win!
 
Rafael was slightly too footed, but wasn't that bad compared to some you see, and his feet were relatively low. Yellow every time, red if you're Webb. Carragher's I think should have been red though, catching someone just below the knee :/
 
If the ref has delt with Carr correctly then Raf would not of dived in, frustraction for not taking the right action to start, Nani look like his had a wound in his shin.
 
The ref has bottled both of those. Both should have been red.

Oh, I'd guess the adrenaline was enough for Nani to get up despite him being hurt, I've done it myself before in the Sunday league only to see/feel my leg go all floppy and realise it's probably a better idea to be on the floor.

How is carragher still on the field? That's a serious injury threatening foul
Why did VDS get a yellow card and not Reina for "joining in"?
How did Maxi not get atleast a yellow for studding Rafael like that?

Much to learn for rafael though. . .

/rolls back 3 months.

Had the ref sent off or booked Rafael for his two footed lunge at Meireles at OT Gerrard would not have made the one footed tackle on Carrick and got sent off.

But both players should know better eh

Reina actually pulled people away from all the handbags though, and didn't run 60-70 yards :p
