Football Accumulators - Which website?

Cheers guys. Just my rough opinions on those fixtures. Take it for what it's worth. :p

Fulham v Arsenal [0-1 or 1-2]

- I'd think this will probably err on the side of Arsenal. Normally I wouldn't write Fulham completely off but they've had a rough couple of games and don't seem on form. Arsenal can be hit and miss, but there's nothing to suggest they'll completely fall apart.

Liverpool v Hull [1-0 or 2-1]

- Hull have never ever been a team to write off, they seem to have a habit of giant killing. However, Hull are on the bottom at the moment and Liverpool need the points after a rough start. I can't see too many goals but I suspect a Liverpool win.

Stoke v Man Utd [1-2]

- Same as with Hull, except Stoke are on better form. Utd have had a little luck on their side recently and I do wonder when it will run dry. I'm a little hard pressed to guess the score-line, but I can't see it being a draw or goaless.

Tottenham v Burnley [1-1]

- Out of most of the games you've posted, this is one I'd keep my eye on. Burnley want it, but Spurs are on fairly good form. Burnley had a set-back recently, but I believe this game will be toe to toe for most of the match. Unless Burnely get lucky, it'll be a Spurs win providing they push. I predict a draw for this one but it will likely be a Spurs victory.

Wigan v Chelsea [0-3]

- No issue here. Chelsea are a very strong team and Wigan haven't got the power to stop that. It's simply a case of how many goals can Chelsea score.

Sunderland v Wolverhampton [0-1]

- This will be a very tight game I think. Sunderland have the experience but Wolves are doing fantastic. I'm not sure why I'm siding with the latter, but I am.

Man City v West Ham [2-0]

- West Ham are doing okay this season but City are not to be ignored. If City keep a clean sheet is another question entirely, but I have no doubt that this will be a City win.

Ipswich v Newcastle [0-1]

- Ipswich are doing okay, but I don't think they'll be able to match Newcastle.

Malaga v Barcelona [0-2]

- I don't know enough about Malaga or La Liga to be fair, but I don't see them causing Barcelona too much of a problem.

Real Madrid v Tenerife [2-1]

- Same as above. I'm guessing on this one.

Most of them I would say are good apart from the Sunderland game, I don't think Wolves would be able to beat them at home. Fulham and Stoke are two teams that had great home records last season but I don't think they will be able to beat United and Arsenal.

The only thing that's put doubt in my mind about the Fulham vs. Arsenal game is that it was City v Fulham [2-1 aet] and City ran riot with Arsenal recently. That said, other factors did and do come in to play. I still fancy Arsenal for atleast a 1-0 win.

Indeed, bookies will have lost a fair penny these last two weeks from the football. For example: one chap won £1100 on a £45 stake on the big-four last week. There'll be a lot of payouts from the Carling Cup matches today now, too.

I use Paddypower online bookmakers for my footy bets. I only bet on the goals market 90% of the time, although I sometimes do the odd match accumulator bet.

This is my midweek bet...fingers crossed :D

LOL!

Personally I would steer clear of Pompey, had a vital midweek win which has probably done wonders for moral, Stoke v Utd and Fulham vs Arsenal are both toughies to call

Stoke caused a lot of probs for Utd at home last season and were on the ropes till Shawcross was sent off (the ref not sending Rooney off either was a great injustice)

Wouldn't touch Arsenal at 8/15 at Fulham but favs keep getting shorter and shorter cos none of them are getting chinned

Arsenal will win this weekend, they'll know that if they lose at the weekend they're out of the title race, also Arshavin is back and Walcott will be on the bench, Rosicky is back too, the team is starting to look stronger at last. But the odds aren't that great really

Everton are in deadly form at the minute too so look like a decent bet.

Post 2000 the draw averages 25%+ change; this season so far it is a meagre 7.14% as certain as night follows day we will see more draws to compensate for low start (just hope they don't all come in same weekend)

09/10 Draw = 7.14 %

08/09 Draw = 25.53 %
07/08 Draw = 26.32 %
06/07 Draw = 25.79 %
05/06 Draw = 20.26 %
04/05 Draw = 28.95 %
03/04 Draw = 28.42 %
02/03 Draw = 23.68 %
01/02 Draw = 26.58 %
00/01 Draw = 26.58 %
