They will now you've backed them, I'm Newcastle's curse, backed them twice and it's the only 2 games they've lost

On Wednesday I had £25 on Villa, Chelsea, Hearts, Man Utd and Inter which returned £96.52, and a £30 single on Man Utd at 11/10

By the way, one rule I'm sticking to this season is to NOT BACK MAN CITY. Their odds are pathetically short and they're nothing decent. They were 1/3 to beat Fulham in the week, finished 1-1.

To be fair to Man City they are the only team that is taking the Carling cup ultra seriously at the moment and are probably worth a run with your money

I think the games will be open for a few weeks yet, it'll get boring soon though

Hopefully it wont even be that long - fixtures are starting to pile up now so there should be a few more friendly results for layers

William Hill were doing a special today, bet £20 on the HT result in the Arsenal game and get £5 correct score bet free so I had:

£20 HT Draw @ 6/5
£5 Arsenal 2-0 @ 6/1

Damn! Had a £25 double on Newcastle and Arsenal too, £93.75 back from that, and £29.12 back from my Heinz earlier in the thread, got 4 out of 6

As topic. I am going to start betting i think...which website would you recommend? Any tips?

Bet365 looks good...but not sure if i am setting it up right so if anyone uses that, can they help.

Note: I haven't betted ANYTHING yet!

Get into Matched Betting and make yourself a nice little float with no risk, or at least, a very very small risk.

Check out the Gambling Introductory Offer Loopholes forum on the Moneysavingexpert forums for great advice on how it's done.

If you must gamble the best books are probably Pinnacle or The Greek.
Betfair is another option. Better prices than the bookies.
