Football Banter Thread

Once he is fit again, I'm expecting Klopp to play Firmino in a more forward role where he was so effective at Hoffenheim. So that may help a bit to cover the injury to Ings

Supposedly Firmino, Benteke and Sturridge should all be fit for the Southampton game, so not too much of a worry but a big shame.

well done those medical staff. the report said there was quite a few of the players just wasting time pretending to be injured.

what % of the time are footballers really injured when rolling about on the floor, you could count it on one hand.

all they want is to waste time and get there fellow professional booked.

I like football and watch a lot but its pathetic to see them doing it

Quite possibly one of my favourite and most memorable Arsenal goals

Arsenals first double season under wenger when we clinched the title against Everton having been 12 points adrift on UTD

To see bouldy play a ball like that through to adams and adams to finish like a proper centre forward was brilliant :cool:

DM will be round soon to tell you how bad everything was with Arsenal back then and how nothing will ever change etc etc ;)

Some rumours circulating that Sturridge is re-injured again. If thats true then its getting ridiculous. No point in having a good striker if he only plays 10 games a year

Given how well we diagnosed his last injury they are probably confusing his knee with his ankle.

If he is indeed having another scan then what, 4-6 weeks given how well he comes back from injury?
