Football Banter Thread

I used to really, really rate Drogba, he was so strong and powerful yet very technically good. Lukaku, for example, is nowhere near in terms of actual footballing ability.

Aye, but I reckon Lukaku has the potential to get to Drogba's (peak) level. He does need to be more clinical and learn how to jump/header a ball first though!

Newcastle entertainers v Man Utd for charity at the weekend.

Time Asprilla was supposed to be starting up front but turned up still drunk from the night before, amazing :D

Given this is the football banter thread, is this correct place for me to give congratulations to Rangers on how well they've done keeping up with the good teams in their first season in the top Scottish division?

Aguero to leave City? There's a lot on the internet about a rift between him and Pep.. Sign him up Wenger. Aguero, Sanchez, Ozil & Walcott sounds a bit rubbish...

Would love to see him at Arsenal, he would definitely fit in with his injury issues:p.

But I can't see city selling him to us and they did, it would be crazy money.

Is he that bad with Injuries? I think last year he was injured a little bit but he still scored 25 odd goals for the club. Would be a formidable player to get, i don't think he would cost a huge amount either, don't know why. Arsenal should stick a cheeky 50m bid in..

£50,000,001?

Exactly, don't forget the penny.
