Neither he nor Martinez should have won awards based purely on their behaviours, referring to the Gibraltar is Spanish and dry humping everything in sight incidents respectively.

Must be weighted then, it's the least important aspect.

I mean, if it's class we're talking about, Real Madrid and it's players should be banned entirely from consideration for next years awards.
 
Absolutely disgusting from Real Madrid. Have totally embarrassed themselves here with their petulant and arrogant behaviour. They have not got a god given right to win everything. No wonder Fergie hated them so much. They’re the same with transfers, they just bully and disrupt their way to any signing they want.

They’re probably butthurt about it too as it ruins their sad little selling point of having to play for them or in Spain to win the ballon d’Or

Funny that neither Vinicius or Real have condemned the racist chanting by their fans to Barca players at the weekend, glass houses and all that eh?

FWIW I think that every team is hypocritical moaning about other teams fans when they fail to deal with bad element within their own ranks.

Apart from Real Madrid issued a statement as did Vini Jr in which he apologised to the Barca players for it.

Of all the things you can label Vini Jr with, him not calling out racism isnt it.

Really, not seen anything responding to the report that their fans were racist chanting otherwise I obviously wouldn't have put that.

I didn't label him with not calling out racism as he has often done it in the past, what I labelled him with was only calling it out when it was directed at him which if he has as mentioned above then obviously I wouldn't have posted that would I as I'd have a different opinion of him.

What it needs is games cancelled and players walking off the pitch and then other fans around the culprits would be more inclined to point them out rather than just letting them get away with their appalling behaviour.
