LOL. Just, LOL.

Yeah, football riots are fine. It's just people being passionate.

thats not what i said ?

they can happen though so wheres the harm in separating people to prevent it ?

do you think rugby fans never fight or something ? ever been in a bar/club when the rugby lot have came in ?

I see. So football fans are 'passionate' so they cannot sit together without assaulting each other and cannot be trusted with alcohol, and presumably rugby fans are not 'passionate' so they can be trusted to drink alcohol and not assault each other?

How odd.

what you where originally saying is like me saying that we only have speed limits because every driver is an idiot and every driver is going to crash or kill someone

its the minority that ruins it for everyone and it certainly happens in rugby and many other sports too

passion causes people to do silly things without thinking. its not difficult to work out. well unless you have never been passionate about anything.

I love you Fox, tell it how it is! :D

Both Rugby and Football fans have, and do, assault each other sometimes. Any of them that do are complete and utter mindless idiots.

Football is far more popular than Rugby, therefore, logically, there will be more 'Football thugs'.
Erm no.

i would guess that youve never looked because you have no interest in slating rugby

happens every week in australia/NZ , where funnily enough they are more passionate about rugby...

first google result is a video of fans throwing rocks over the ground and police using tear gas and shooting at them with rubber bullets...

I have no interest either way, as I've already stated I have no interest in sports, so no need for the indignant tone.

I just stated that I've never heard of it, but your info has enlightened me. Cheers.

EDIT: I will say, though, that part of my inexposure to any kind of other sporting hooliganism is not just down to the media, but personal experience. I see all sorts of establishments forbidding football regalia, but other sports are fine.

In fact, a memory that I constantly recall is a young child in a supermarket with his parents; all clad in football shirts with the child literally chanting as loud as he could "OOOOO AAWWW YAAAA! OOOO AWWWW YAAAA!" (I assume "Who are ya? Who are ya?", maybe?). The parents seemed extremely proud of his efforts.

Why are all BMW drivers ******* always wanted to ask that in MO but would have been classed as trolling

I have been to loads of Rugby matches and its boring in the stands, very little atmosphere.

Unions consists of basic cheering and singing Swing Low, Sweet Chariot ZZZZzzzzzz

Hmmmm Football you say?.....quite, rather.

the same reason you will never see scenes like this at rugby

passion . and its caused fights and wars since history began.

The turkish fans are crazy. I was at OT earlier in the season when Bursaspor visited and they didn't stop, they were constantly jumping, turning their backs on the game, dividing their fans in two halves and shouting back and forth between each other. There was no violence though. It was great to see.

i been to a few games with the TNT (Torquay firm involving complete nutters and wreckheads) when i was unfortunately a bit of a coke head! :(

had some great times especially at hereford away! going up on coach of 60 all getting mashed singing songs having a laugh, then walking through hereford town centre going mental and people looking at us thinking "what nobs" everyone everywhere starring at you having a laugh in the pubs playing pool all smashed then finally getting to the game going mental for 90 mins involving losing my old nokia in the mud which still worked after lol! finally getting escorted back to the coach by a load of police and some on horses with a few female coppers recording everything thats going on!

at the time it was a wicked experience and i bet it can get quiet addictive for some people but its not something i could do week in weekout!

im glad i did it for the time i did! does give u quiet a lot of confidence for some reason i reckon lol!
