With Arsenal? I like to sell more or less the whole squad and start again.

I haven't got all of those in 1 game though, they're just the best players from my experience over my 2 personal games and a network game I have going with my mate :)
 
Still play 07, well never player FM before so this will do for me now.

After 3 seasons as boss of Aston Villa, i finished 3rd in Prem, won the UEFA cup by getting rid of dead wood, pretty much the whole team lol and buying players like Craig Gordan, A. Ferdinand, M. Richards, M. Fernandes, S. Downing, D. Bent. Okaka and with G. Agbonlahor, A. Young and G. Barry they make quite a good team.
 
Just started out with Bolton, only got 2mill to spend, Won my first 2 friendlys 4-1 and lost my 3rd 3-2 (jussi got sent off in last minute).

Deffo need a new full back, but Vaz Te and Anelka seem to be pairing up nice, Gardner and Davies are out for a month though :(
 
In the prem with Norwich now, not doing too well, as expected, had a hefty 9mil transfer budget, which has helped out.

Nacer Barazite is now an official "Wonderkid" and is worth 4million after 1 and 1/3 years!
 
I decided to do something different and started a game as Olympique Lyonnais with an English league in the background so that I can move to a team there is need be.

Top of Ligue 1 but only in the UEFA cup as my Euro form is awful. I plan to win Ligue 1 then look for a job in a low league english team. I love moving jobs (as in not just adding a new manager)
 
ive started my usual first game with boro, havent done too well upto now, played 8 won 4, drew 1, lost 3.

all 3 lost are away from home. had quite a few dissallowed goals too, and most the time when i do lose its cos my defenders dont wanna close down even if closing down is set to often etc. that seems to be a bug so gunna wait for patch before i start my usual unemployed game :D
 
Just won Ligue 1 with Olympique Lyonnais but I don't like the French league so I resigned, now waiting for a job offer from England :)

EDIT: I have accepted a job with newly relegated Birmingham. Will stay here for 1-2 seasons I expect

Sitting 14th in the premier league with my Norwich squad. Played 28, won 8, drawn 6, lost 14.

Hoping to stay out of relegation and further strengthen the squad for next year. Should hopefully have a nice budget seeing as I've got 5mil left over from last year to put into wages if I go down again.

Had a rather spectacular game against arsenal, got to 4-1 up and ended up drawing 4 all, lucky to avoid defeat due to disallowed goal!

Update: having some fantastic results, am sitting in 11th, with 13th as the worst I can come this season. Come on you yellows! Top half finish!

Season finished, came 12th, not bad for a season straight after promotion :) Need to strengthen my defense and offload some of my useless players for next year, see if I can be a top half team!

started a game a few days back, playing as sheffield wed and am currently sitting pretty at the top of the championship.

francis jeffers has been a revelation up front, been having a good league cup run too although havent played any decent opposition yet keep getting away draws to championship/league 1 teams.
 
I like the new feature when you start a game, that allows you to turn off transfers until the January transfer window. Stop teams like Chelsea from buying your star players even ebfore the season has started. Much more realistic season as well.
 
Its a known bug that Scottland. SI have released a beta patch ahead of the full release of the patch.

And Mum tells me FM08 arrived at home today. :D She put it back in the post right away so there is a teeny weeny incy bitsy chance it'll be here tomorrow but I'm betting on Monday instead. :(

Started a game as Man Utd to get a feel for the game. The board have very high expectation's. League and FA Cup finals, Semi Final of the Champs League, to Win the Community shield (already done so) and finally to Win the League.

Im doing ok for now...

League after 28 games played is:

Arsenal - 62
Chelsea - 59
Man Utd (me) - 57
Liverpool - 54

Quarter finals of the champs league to play Seville. Quarter final of the FA cup to play Chelsea in a replay. Only bad thing was getting knocked out of the league cup, I rotated the team around and played Newcastle. Got beat 1-0. The board was'nt too happy with me as it was the 4th round :p

On a side note, anyone started a game as a large club like Man Utd etc? Are you recording a loss every month. I seem to do so. Ive cut players wages to try and save money but Im always making a loss. The balance of the club is even £7M in the red. Transfer budget is ok, as Ive £5.35M left.
