Football **Spoilers** 4th-7th November

Why would I need to clutch at straws and what in my post describes this act?

The utter tripe you posted. It seems you are judging him on speculation that Leeds might have signed him when they were good? Or how about basing your current opinion of him when he played for Forest almost 4 years ago?

Dawson was a key player for Forest I can't imagine they offered him to Leeds (got a source?), it took a combined fee of £8m to take him and Reid to Spurs.

As for him not being good enough for you, he's not better than premier league rejects Michalik and Huntington? If you really think he wouldn't get in your team you are seriously deluded.

Huntington isn't first choice for us, and yes I rate Michalik as better.

However, it doesn't really matter whether someone at an arbitrary club is better or not, Dawson is not Prem quality.

I can't say I follow Leeds that closely, who is then? Your right it doesn't matter, I was merely following up your slating of him saying he wouldn't get in the Leeds team. Dawson is good enough as a squad player for most Prem teams, I'd also argue he'd be first choice for a fair few of them.

It was you who first mentioned Leeds, not me. I was being sarcastic about him fitting in at Leeds, but I certainly wouldn't pick him for us.

He might get in at a clubber club. Like Bolton or Sunderland. Nowhere that actually tries to play football. I'm surprised he's lasted so long at Spurs.

What ARE you on about?

You sarcastically said he is a sunday league player, I sarcastically said that must make Leeds a team of under 11 paraplegics.

He's lasted at Spurs because he is actually a good defender, he's not a great footballer but he can deliver a half decent cross field ball. His main strengths are his aerial ability and his never say die attitude. He's just a watered down John Terry.

That would have been a cracking goal from Robhino.

Real end-to-end stuff at City.
