Football *Spoilers* 8th-9th March

Boateng is rubbish, I'd rather stick with Arca and Rochemback. Boateng was quite easily the worst player on the pitch against Sheffield United. No pace, lost his strength, can't pass and he's clumsy.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him though, something has to change and Middlesbrough have no strength in depth.
Tuncay into Midfield with Mido up-top with Alves is a possibility. Tuncay on the right and O'Neil into the middle. But harsh that Grounds was replaced with Pogatetz for this game too, I don't think Grounds would have left his man like 'Mad Dog'.

Boateng wasn't worse than anyone else against Sheff U, at least he actually runs with the ball and shows some fight. Somethign Arca and Rochemback need..

Grounds was poor against Sheff U, Hines would have been a more logical choice at LB but Pogatetz, Huth, Wheater and Young have all been pretty prolofic for Boro this season so need to change anything for this game.

I'd play Grounds, he's more of a LB. Huth has hardly played this season, so I wouldn't say he's been prolific...

But since he has come into the team Boro have looked a lot better at the back, thought you would have known that.

Hines favoured position is LB and has much more first team experience than Grounds, it has showed when both have played.

This is his first game in a month, since Fulham (1-0), before that he played in the 1-1 with Newcastle.
Hardly the most formidable of attacking opponents.

Throwing CB's around your defence doesn't work, they are missing Taylor, but Grounds is a more solid LB than Pogatetz. Throwing Huth straight back in against a top Championship side in a Cup match just seems a bit daft, it's breaking up a defence who know each other. The result has been a defence that hasn't dealt with set-pieces and a goal conceeded from the result of the decision, putting Pogatetz at LB.

Would be Adebayor and Torres for me.

Ade has been a revelation to the Arsenal team this season, added a totally different dimension to their play if they need it.
