That was a great finale. Just taking it in now and trying to make sense of things.

I was similar - had it in my mind it was only episode 9 and was thinking "this is a bit climatic" then realised at the end with the time jump - doh! 
Was also thinking with what went on - this could also be a pre cursor to the Expanse

Almost felt like this finale was a 'just in case' we don't get renewed, think this was the first finale that a 'no major character died' if we do get a S5 the amount of make up Ed will need to look in his 80s will be amusing.

The original plan was for seven seasons: https://www.denofgeek.com/tv/for-all-mankind-creators-discuss-their-seven-season-plan/ . Apple haven't confirmed a fifth season yet, but it seems the viewing figures for season 4 were pretty decent so there are good grounds for optimism.
I presume once the timeline has caught up it will be more or less a straightforward sci-fi, probably Mars declaring independence, exploring/exploiting the asteroid belt, etc, etc.
Ahh that would be cool, then I can just watch the Expanse again and pretend its all the same universe.

there been rumbling that amazon is thinking about greenlighting a new season/spin off/soft reboot of the expanse.
Well is their not enough source material, like a lot of stuff was jumped over for the 20 year ending gap?
Would be welcome if they kept the same look and real space effects.

As some have said - it was okay but for me probably the weakest series so far.
Way to much of Margo plodding to the shops in Moscow or Ed turning into a shop steward below decks and much too little actual "space" stuff.
Presumably even if they go with another series that is the end of Ed, Danielle and Margo and I am not sure who can replace them at the same level.

Finished the latest series the other day. I really found it lacking. Series 3 was pretty standard after a great 1 & 2, but this continued a downward trend.
I liked the Margo storyline the best. I thought Toby Kebbell was so, so poor in this and the maintenance crew storyline was just so tired and forced. You're on Mars, for god's sake.
