Im still not back in the gym after my operation, i have been off the gym for 6 weeks, and im not allowed to go back to the gym for another month. Its so devastating not being able to train, i feel the size of a 13 year old. I just hope i can gain back what ive lost quickly through muscle memory when i start training again.
Cant wait to get back in there, ive got everything planned and in place for when i get back in there, im going to be so weak going back.

:(

I'm sure you'll be back to go in no time. I hate how you feel after not working out for a while, I feel horrible and weak when I just take a week off for rest.

You feel bad now but you've got all those lovely rapid gains to look forward to when you come back, muscle memory is a wonderful thing :D
Been going heavy past few weeks as I come to the end of another epic HST cycle, set quite a few PB's tonight.

Deadlifts: 3x180kg - without chalk, run out. 4 plates a side :)
Bent Over Rows: 5x140kg - 3 plates a side :) Also did 10x120kg next set (new 10rep PB)
Incline DB Press: 5x56kg(x2), 3x57kg(x2) - On my own, no spotter. Bitches to get into position. 60's by christmas?
CGBP: 5x105kg
Clean & Press: 3x80kg - Only been doing these a couple of months, love them :D
Went for some more PB's tonight, probably won't go this heavy again until next year.

Deadlifts: 1x185kg - again without chalk, desperately need some!
Incline DB Press: 2x60(x2) - Over the moon with this lift :D
CGBP: 5x107.5kg 2(+2)x110 - No spotter so used rest pause on 110kg (15 secs)
Clean & Press: 2x85kg

Nice lifts Chong, looking good :) I'm still decorating this place, but been regular at the gym... so don't think I've just thrown in the towel I'm still going strong :D

Any ideas guys for some leg exercises i do regular squats and have a cage in the backs and plenty olympic weights but i can really only do the squats as mentioned or a bit of lunges any ideas please

Indeed they do :)

Though Hack and Front squats are a little too similar to do in the same workout. Both hit the quads harder than normal back squats, which target the glutes heavily.

ahh thats why i got such a big ass :D
would i have to lower the weight to do the front squats
i usually do
5 x 15 x 80kg/70kg
and a couple of sets of lunges with weights

i also take a heaped tablespoon of creatine and a couple of heaped h&b protien in semi skimmed milk twice a day or at least after workout

post workout, take the protein in water. also, h&b is not cheap, there are much better deals to be had online (myprotein.co.uk for example (use MP15628 for a discount on your first order)).

you really have a heaped tablespoon of creatine every day?

yeah at least is that too much

yes.
5g should be more than enough (thats a teaspoon or so).

what creatine are you taking? CEE or mono?

i think its mono just again the h&b stuff
what would you advice be for supplements
and how much ,as you said creatine 5g would that be twice a day or only 2.5 twice

are you seeing any benefit to the creatine? im guessing that you probably are not if you are using so much.
a lot of people are non responders to creatine mono, so if you are one of them, might be worth trying some CEE.

what would i advise, my answer could only be really given if i knew your whole diet. then i (and others) could see what you actually need in terms of supplementation :]

i would say my energy levels are up [im a bit hyper anyway]
its hard to give an accurate description of what i eat everyday ,i change it so much i do try to get a couple of eggs in first thing ,then maybe a tuna/chicken wrap ,big tea as in cuople of chicken breasts, veg things like that then a shake ,train mostly every second day
weight 88-90kgs

deads 150kgs
squats 70/80kgs
bench 80/90 kgs
mostly decreasing sets of 15 x5 [weight going down]
and im an old man at 36 lol

what are your goals? if its strengh or mass then you might want to think about changing your diet rather than supplementing with protein atm.
