Hi again. Thought I'd make a new thread about this. I know nothing about SSD's. Would you be nice forum folk and check on these for me? I don't think it is performing right.

Is your drive near full capacity and are you running win 7 (trim commands)?

Half capacity, and yeah trim is enabled.

what board? the reads are fine but the writes look odd and are a lot lower than they should be

It's a Gigabyte Z68-UD5-B3.

Not sure if I've got it plugged into the right SATA socket?

it should be in the white intel sata3 ports,

thats what i get with 60gb corsair force gt (red) ssd

which port do you have it in? what colour? i think they are white or grey on that board?

Try another cable?

If that doesn't do anything, I personally would use parted magic and do a complete wipe and start again.

I'll try and update the firmware now and let you know how it goes.

I've never done this before, is it just a case of installing it?

NO!!!!!!!!

youll brick the drive if you flash the wrong one,load the flashing tool and read the last few numbers of the drive,then pick the same matching firmware version
